Meet Your Resiliency Facilitator
Gideon F. Mukwai, CRF Certified Resiliency Facilitator and Certified Emergency Manager is an author, trainer and facilitator on Resiliency & Emergency/Crisis Management.

He is an award winning public speaker whose programs have been delivered internationally in Canada, US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and South Africa. In 2005, he was a champion speaker in Singapore and #2 in South East Asia (Toastmasters International Speech Contest). He came out tops from over 2000 speakers in Singapore and over 2700 from 4 countries in SE Asia.

More recently in 2007, he became a champion speaker in Northern Nevada (Reno & Carson City) International Speech Contest of Toastmasters International.

He works with organizations in teaching resiliency skills that boost productivity through improved problem solving, social intelligence and a quest for serendipity.

He trains organizations on crisis/emergency management and helps them to improve the cohesiveness of emergency response teams. As a former fire officer, he advices and coaches corporate emergency/crisis response teams to address common pitfalls to increase their ability to bounce back stronger from setbacks..

He also works with crisis team leaders in designing, planning and facilitating emergency training exercises, workshops, seminars to teach specific skills or strategies required during the mayhem of a disaster.

He works individually with people who wish to implement resiliency strategies in their personal and professional lives to recharge, rebuild & rebound stronger from setbacks.

Currently, Gideon is serving as President of the International Region, of the International Association or Emergency Managers. (IAEM)

He has a track record of over 10 years in emergency preparedness, part of which he served as a fire officer, HazMat specialist and senior instructor with Singapore Civil Defence Force.

He is a published author, avid writer and regular contributor to leading professional journals and periodicals.
